When an evaluator, task, or candidate is corrected, the original failure remains intact. The correction begins a new evidence branch with its own identity, scope, and burden of proof.
Governing rule
A correction may earn successor evidence. It cannot manufacture retroactive success.
Context
AlexOS encountered failed and invalid evaluation outcomes alongside defects in the institution doing the judging. Treating the corrected rerun as if the first result had passed would erase the event that justified the correction and blur which identity actually earned which result.
Current state
The original outcomes remain preserved. Corrected evaluators and candidates receive successor identities, and a later RC9-to-RC12 handoff earned one bounded mechanics pass. RC9 remains active; RC12 remains experimental; broader promotion remains withheld.
